The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract water from underground strata consisting of Chalk at Lynsters Farm, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire from National Grid References: TQ 03230 92172, TQ 03284 92181, TQ 03334 92225, TQ 03516 92159, TQ 03621 92121, TQ 03665 92141, TQ 03719 92134, TQ 03734 92135, TQ 03798 92330, TQ 03814 92340, TQ 03852 92340, TQ 03863 92348, TQ 04049 92324, TQ 04179 92299 and TQ 04183 92311 to transfer it to a lake at Lynsters Farm, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire at National Grid Reference TQ 03404 92271 without intervening use.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 80 cubic metres an hour
- 960 cubic metres a day
- 30,240 cubic metres a year
- All year.
Abstraction will take place for the purpose of dewatering for remedial work on a sewerage pipe replacement.
