John Grant (Donington) has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the South Forty Foot Outfall in Bicker Fen from an area formed by National Grid References (NGRs) TF 19663 40751, TF 19944 40564, TF 19769 40233 and TF 19267 40464 and a reach between NGRs TF 18702 39731 and TF 19148 39529.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
From the area:
- 108 cubic metres an hour
- 2,500 cubic metres a day
- 25,000 cubic metres a year
- between March to November inclusive in each year.
From the reach:
- 108 cubic metres an hour
- 2,500 cubic metres a day
- 25,000 cubic metres a year
- between March to November inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for spray irrigation.
