HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is one of 5 members of the Joint Chiefs of Global Tax Enforcement group, also known as the ‘J5’. The other countries represented are Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and the US.

The purpose of the J5 is to tackle international tax crime, money laundering, and those who enable it.
