Representatives of the Government of the UK and the Government of Rwanda held a meeting of the Joint Committee on 25 April 2025.
The Joint Committee received a detailed update on ratification and implementation of the Treaty.
Upcoming activities for operationalisation and the Monitoring Committee (MC) were covered and new Joint Committee terms of reference were discussed.
Funding and arrangements for failed asylum seekers were also discussed.
