On 25 February 2015 the Joint Committee on the Draft Protection of Charities Bill published its report.

The government has published its response to the report, following pre-legislative scrutiny of the draft bill. The government has accepted most, but not all, of the Joint Committee’s recommendations and welcomes the Committee’s broad support for the draft bill.
