This version of the protocol in an update to the version issued in 2010. It is an interim measure until the launch of a new stakeholder protocol led by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) electronic monitoring contract team and electronic monitoring services.

It covers recent changes in practice and legislation, as well as the new contractual arrangements.
