Details of the application

Jonathan Boor & Linda Denise Boor have applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number 5/31/14/*S/0185 which authorises the abstraction of water from Inland waters known as the River Welland, New River Drain and Soke Dyke within the North Level Internal Drainage Board and the Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board district at Crowland and Cowbit, Spalding, Lincolnshire. Abstraction is authorised between 01 April and 31 October from six reaches between National Grid References; TF 23018 11378 and TF 23007 11581, TF 23188 12258 and TF 23210 12348, TF 23889 11878 and TF 23875 12071, TF 25305 16934 and TF 25460 16584, TF 25346 16951 and TF 25505 16598, TF 24184 19104 and TF 26278 15861.

The proposed variation will authorise abstraction from an additional reach between National Grid References TF 21438 09202 and TF 20505 09043. There will be no change to the abstraction quantities or abstraction period.
