Relevant to anyone who takes part in sea-based activities, this paper was put together by a panel of members from:
- the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA)
- the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
- the Royal Yachting Association (RYA)
- industry and academia
It looks at a number of fatal incidents, and judges how many lives could have been saved by wearing lifejackets or buoyancy aids.
