Keith Patrick Ashbourne has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Neachley Brook, Shropshire at National Grid Reference SJ 78408 06067.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 190 cubic metres an hour
- 4,550 cubic metres a day
- Annual quantity of 300,000 cubic metres to be split as 163,500 between November and March and 136,500 to be taken all year.
The water will be used for filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation. The proposed abstraction lies within the Worcestershire Middle Severn Catchment Abstraction Licensing Strategy reporting area.
