What is a KTP?
A KTP brings together the elements needed for innovation:
- knowledge
- skills
- technology
- adaptability
Businesses can use the expertise of universities, and academic bodies can improve their industry links and kick start the careers of high calibre graduates.
These partnerships lead to exceptional results in profit, capability, reputation and future promise.
This year, every £1 million invested in the KTP programme:
- created 44 new jobs
- put £1.8 million into R&D
- put £1.6 million into plant and machinery
