From 1 October 2015, the British Embassy in Kuwait has no objection to any British national sponsoring for visa/residency purposes their British or non-British spouse or other family member(s). Requests for visas or residency are a personal matter for the individuals concerned and the local authorities. The British Embassy will no longer issue no objection certificates or letters relating to visas/residency.
