This is the 2019 to 2020 annual report from Margaret Beels, Director of Labour Market Enforcement (DLME).

It assesses labour market enforcement following the 2019 – 2020 Strategy.

The annual report sets out:

  • an assessment of the extent to which labour market enforcement functions were exercised from April 2019 to October 2020 in accordance with the 2019-2020 strategy recommendations
  • an assessment, as far as possible of the effect on the scale and nature of non‑compliance in the labour market
  • a statement of activities relating to the Director’s Information Hub undertaken in the reporting period
