Details

The UK was the first industrialised country in the world.

The legacy of the industrial revolution is over 400,000 hectares of contaminated land. UK expertise in land remediation has been borne out of necessity. The Department for International Trade’s (DIT) brochure provides an overview of the expertise gained from over 5 decades of experience in land remediation.

The brochure includes information on:

  • sector specialists
  • urban regeneration
  • spill response
  • monitoring and validation
  • corporate liability management
  • innovation
  • industry bodies
  • how DIT can help

This was published originally by UK Trade and Investment which has since moved to the Department for International Trade (DIT).
