Landing obligation (discard ban) 2017: Guidance

The landing obligation (discard ban) applies to quota species and any other species subject to catch limits. It is being phased in over the period 2015 to 2019.

Details

If you target pelagic quota species in the North Sea or North Western waters you must follow the pelagic landing obligation. If you target certain demersal quota species you have to follow the demersal landing obligation.
