Highways England uses Lean principles to challenge current practices and work with suppliers to continuously improve. This is the basis of the Lean Division’s work.

This strategy document sets out how Lean will help us deliver the Road Investment Strategy efficiently while improving customer service and, most importantly, doing it all safely.
