The national surveillance scheme:
- detects clusters or outbreaks of legionella infection in England and Wales or abroad
- identifies sources of infection so that control measures can be applied to prevent further cases
- offers legionella surveillance information
Report all confirmed cases of Legionellosis to the national surveillance scheme for Legionnaires’ disease using this form.
