Advice for government officials who want to amend primary legislation through a legislative reform order (LRO) under the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006.

The guidance sets out the process to meet the requirements for an LRO. It includes a flowchart of the process, a proforma to analyse potential LROs and a template for the explanatory document.
