Details

In July 2022 the Treasury announced the appointment of Ashley Alder as the next Chair of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). On 11 October the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Andrew Griffith MP, wrote to the Chair of the Treasury Select Committee, The Rt Hon Mel Stride MP, to confirm that Ashley Alder will take up the role on 20 February 2023, and that Richard Lloyd will continue to serve as Interim Chair until then.
