Details

These letters describe the changes introduced in September 2014 to improve support for children and young people with special educational needs and disability (SEND).

They outline ways in which local authorities, schools and colleges working with children with SEND can implement the reforms correctly, and explain the main changes to parents.

Advice on implementing the 0 to 25 special needs system for local authorities and advice for colleges is available.
