This letter from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) provides information to address retailers’ concerns about the potential risks around competition law when approached to sign up to a local high-strength alcohol scheme.

The letter also builds on our guidance to help local authorities and businesses understand the application of competition law to high-strength alcohol schemes.
