Details

On 17 January, the Home Secretary launched a review into the process of police officer dismissals. On 31 August, the government announced a series of reforms to improve the police disciplinary processes.

This letter, from the Home Secretary and Minister for Crime, Policing and Fire, to chief constables in England and Wales, sets out further detail on these proposals and their delivery.
