Details

The Regulator of Social Housing has written to registered providers of social housing and others about becoming a standalone public body.

RSH has been established as a standalone organisation from 1 October 2018. This means it is no longer part of the Homes and Communities Agency. The separation implements the conclusion of the 2016 Tailored Review of the HCA which also reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to a strong, independent regulator of social housing.
