Details of the application

The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Minster Surfacing Limited.

The proposed variation does not involve substantial change.

The application is a variation of the existing permit to make the following changes:

 Increase the overall annual throughput at the site from 25,000 tonnes to 75,000 tonnes.

Add storage and treatment hazardous AWCCT (waste code 17 03 01*) to the permit as Section 5.3 Part A (1) (a) and Section 5.6 Part A (1) (a) respectively.

Add storage and treatment of non-hazardous AWCCT (17 03 02) as a waste operation activity.

Reduce the waste streams on the permit to align with the site operations. The permit already allows for the recycling/reclamation of inorganic materials.

To update the registered office address.

There are no proposed changes to the existing site boundary as part of this permit variation application.
