Phases 1 and 2 of the Green Homes Grant: Local Authority Delivery Scheme (LAD 1&2) were one of four ‘Green Economic Stimulus’ programmes launched in 2020 to help property owners install energy efficiency improvements and low carbon heat measures in their properties.

The scheme aimed to reduce fuel poverty in participating households, transition properties to low carbon heating, and support the country’s economic recovery from COVID-19.

The former Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) commissioned Ipsos, in partnership with the Building Research Establishment (BRE), to conduct a process and outcome evaluation of the scheme.

Report coverage
