All 7 authorities have neither a plan adopted in the current plan making system nor have a currently submitted a draft plan for local plan examination. These 7 authorities have now been asked to revise their local plan timetable. The local authorities will also be required to provide regular progress reports to departmental officials to inform whether further intervention action may be needed in the future.
The 7 local authorities are: Amber Valley, Ashfield, Basildon, Castle Point, Medway, St Albans and Uttlesford.
