Economic growth is a critical issue for local authorities and Local Enterprise Partnerships, requiring close working at a local level in order to make best use of the available resources. This is the executive summary of a report exploring the links between economic development and regulatory activity, with the aims of determining the scale of joint working, identifying examples of good practice, and informing the development of a toolkit.
