Lesley Longstone left her role as Chief Executive at the Crown Prosecution Service in May 2018.

Lesley Longstone sought the Committee’s advice about taking up an appointment as Chief Executive Officer at the General Optical Council.

The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in September 2018. The appointment was taken up later that month.
