A letter from Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Schools Lord Nash to Barry Day, the new chair of the Al-Madinah Education Trust, notifying him of the next steps for the school. The letter states that the secondary school will close from September 2014 to allow the board to focus its efforts on ensuring the school can deliver a high-quality primary education. The department will offer full support in finding the secondary pupils alternative places in time for the start of the next academic year.
