Send your Lottery Duty return online
Use this service to send your Lottery Duty return to HMRC.
Use this service to send your monthly Lottery Duty return (BD600) for duty payable from the National Lottery. You can also use this service if you’re an agent or representative acting on behalf of a client.
Check if you need to register for Lottery Duty and what you need to do if it affects you.
What you need
You’ll need:
- your Lottery Duty registration number
- the value of tickets in the online game in this period
- the value of instant chance packs settled in this period
- details of any under declarations or over declarations from previous returns
How to submit your return
To submit a return, you need a Government Gateway user ID and password. If you do not have one, you can create one when you submit your return. Agents will need their clients access code and Lottery Duty registration number.
HMRC services may be slow during busy times. Check if there are any problems with this service.
When you cannot use this service
You cannot use this service to amend a return in which you’ve made an error. You’ll need to make a claim in writing to HMRC’s Gambling Duties Team.
