Treating waste wood from making panels and furniture under a T6 exemption: LRWP 88

This low risk waste position (LRWP) applies if you treat waste wood from wood processing and making panels and furniture under a T6 waste exemption.
If you follow the conditions in this LRWP you can treat this waste in addition to the waste types in the T6 waste exemption.
Conditions you must comply with
You must:
- register and comply with all the other conditions in the T6 waste exemption
- only treat clean, chemically untreated wood, sawdust, shavings, cuttings and source segregated particle board from wood processing and making panels and furniture (waste code 03 01 05)
- only accept particle board which will become wood fuel for non-domestic biomass incinerators
You must make sure your activities do not endanger human health or the environment. You must not:
- cause a risk to water, air, soil, plants or animals
- cause a nuisance through noise or odours
- adversely affect the countryside or places of special interest
Enforcement
A LRWP means that the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action against you provided:
- your activity meets the description set out in this LRWP
- you comply with the conditions set out in this LRWP
- your activity does not, and is not likely to, cause environmental pollution or harm human health
