Details

The Lowland Agricultural Peat Task Force brought together a range of stakeholders. It was chaired by Robert Caudwell, farmer and Chair of the Association of Drainage Authorities. The aim of the task force was to explore how lowland agricultural peat soils can:

  • be better managed to protect productive agriculture
  • contribute to the government’s target to achieve net zero by 2050

The chair’s report provides 14 recommendations.
