Paper prepared by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) on early modelling scenarios for potential B.1.1.529 (Omicron) epidemic trajectories. It was considered at SAGE 99 on 16 December 2021. The paper is the assessment of the evidence at the time of writing. As new evidence or data emerges, SAGE updates its advice accordingly.
