Following the exhibition event, which was on May 20 and 21, a summary has been done based on the feedback from the event.
The exhibition was organised to inform residents and business of York about the upcoming works that are planned for the Foss Barrier; the initial proposals for what works could be possible with the £45m additional funding to reduce flood risk; the future vision for York and an opportunity to sign up for flood warnings and to receive assistance with creating personal and community emergency plans.
A number of initial proposals were also displayed for communities and the public were given an opportunity to feedback their thoughts on these.
The attached documents outline the summary of the exhibition event and what works may be possible in the different communities.
