Details

The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) provided advice and guidance to manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The scheme provided support through expert reviews and in some cases, a relatively small grant.

BIS has recently undertaken a methodology study on how to assess the economic benefits of those who received grant support in 2012 and 2013. The peer reviewed findings and recommendations from this study will be taken into account in future evaluations of MAS.
