Details

This series of maps shows the locations of UK Meteorological Office weather stations which monitor and measure different weather conditions. They share the data they collect with DESNZ, which cover:

• temperature and heating degree days
• wind speed
• sun hours
• rainfall

DESNZ publishes the data on a monthly and quarterly basis in Energy Trends and on an annual basis in the Digest of UK Energy Statistics (DUKES).
