Details

This inshore Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) was announced on 31 May 2019.

Purbeck Coast MCZ is an inshore site that covers an area of 282 km². The site is located in the Eastern channel and stretches from Ringstead Bay in the west to Swanage Bay in the east along the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
