Details

This inshore Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) was announced on 17 January 2016.

Runswick Bay is an inshore site located off the Yorkshire Coast, to the north-west of Whitby.

The site covers an area of around 68 km², and extends 3 nautical miles out to sea.
