This report provides an update on the current state of the Marine Protected Area network established under the Marine and Coastal Access Act. It sets out progress in establishing the network since 2019 and future plans.

This report was laid in parliament on 18 December 2024, pursuant to Section 124 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
