Details

This technical report describes the development of a method for the determination of formaldehyde in simulated leachates from melamine kitchenware which could be readily adapted to other matrices.

The analytical techniques investigated were liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (quadrupole time-of-flight analyser) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (single quadrupole analyser).
