Details
This guidance ensures that Parole Board panels have the most relevant information about each of the protected characteristics and how they should be considered when carrying out Parole Board work.
The guidance provides information about the main types of prohibited conduct under the Equality Act 2010, including the different types of discrimination, harassment and victimisation, as well as information about reasonable adjustments and examples of best practice for Parole Board panels. It aims to support Parole Board panels in appropriately considering the needs of those they encounter within their work and ensure that the Board’s statutory duty is met.
