Details

The Bill makes provision to modernise the Mental Health Act to improve safeguards in the health and social care and justice systems.

The IA provides sufficient evidence and analysis for the RPC to be able to validate the EANDCB. The assessment of impacts on small and microbusinesses is sufficient. The Department has provided a thorough cost benefit analysis, with a good discussion of wider impacts and monitoring and evaluation.
