This notice should be read in conjunction with MGN 587 (F) ILO work in fishing convention health and safety responsibilities, MGN 636 (M) amendment 1 merchant shipping and fishing vessels (health and safety at work) regulations 1997, MGN 331 (M+F) amendment 1 provision and use of work equipment regulations 2006, MGN 332 (M+F) amendment 1 lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations and MGN 578 (M) overside working on vessels and replaces MGN 410 (M+F).
