This MIN replaces MIN 531 (Corrigendum) and expires 6 November 2018.

This note should be read with Part 8 of the Merchant Shipping MLC Minimum requirements for seafarers etc regulations 2014 and Merchant Shipping Notice MSN 1846 (M) MLC 2006 Food and Catering; Ships Cooks and Catering Staff.

Level 2 is the minimum acceptable level for catering staff and other persons processing food in the galley.
