MIN 632 Amendment 1 COVID 19 extension of seafarer employment agreements

Valid till 31 January 2021. Ship owners, of UK flag ships, to notify the MCA (mlc@mcga.gov.uk) of any seafarers remaining on board beyond their contracted period.

Details

Amendment 1 reflects changes in process, including clarifying the need to provide full information to the MCA to support decision making.

This notice should be read with the merchant shipping (maritime labour convention) (minimum standards for seafarers, etc) regulations 2014 and replaces MIN 632(M).

This notice is under review but is valid till 31st January 2020.
