The Ministry of Defence (MOD) mid year report to Parliament for the period inlcuded in the reports above by Jon Thompson, Permanent Secretary. These reports summarises the progress the MOD has made towards its priorities, including:

• a mid year summary of the financial status of the department
• a report progress against the major projects currently underway
• an in-year view of the personnel numbers, as well as the results of both the civilian and military personnel surveys
