You need to apply for a capital grants plan before you can use and claim this capital item.

Once you have your agreement, use the moorland mapping record to:

• create a detailed map of your moorland
• record all habitats and features on your moorland

Your map and completed record can also help you understand the best management and grazing actions for your moorland.

Make a claim for payment

1. Submit a claim for payment using the Rural Payments service or a claim form.

2. Submit your map and completed record by post or email to the Rural Payments Agency (RPA):
