You must now record your MOT training on the MOT testing service.

You and the business you work for can be suspended from MOT testing if you do not record your training on the MOT testing service.

Details

You must take training each year if you’re an MOT tester, and keep a record of it.

There’s no set format you have to use for your record, but you can use this template if you want to.

You have to keep your records for 5 years.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency can take disciplinary action against you if you don’t keep training records, and it can affect your tester status.
