Abstracting or impounding water: notices of applications made
View a list of applications that have been submitted to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract or impound water.
The Environment Agency has the power to decide whether or not to grant licences to abstract or impound water in England.
Notices are given, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006 that applications have been made to the Environment Agency.
If you are concerned about a proposal you have a chance to comment.
Notices are published for 28 days.
New licence applications
