Details

This notice is a revision of the original MSN 1823. It applies to:-

  • passenger ships constructed on or after 1 January 2018;
  • existing passenger ships that have not held a valid Passenger Ship Certificate since prior to 6 April 2010; and,
  • existing ships converted to passenger ships on or after 1 January 2018.

It has been necessary to revise several details in MSN 1823 Edition 2, as published in December 2017, to accurately reflect other related requirements, improve clarity and ensure information is up to date. These minor, non-substantive changes are included in Amendment 1.
