National Apprenticeship Advisory Committee: Making apprenticeships an important and sustainable part of the health sector workforce - final report and DH response to recommendations

The National Apprenticeship Advisory Committee (NAAC) was created created and chaired by Guy's and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust Chief Executive Ron Kerr, to provide advice to ministers on the best way forward for apprenticeships in the health sector in England.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Details

The result of the work of that group is a report and set of recommendations to ministers for improvements that would develop a sustainable vision for the role of apprenticeships in the health sector in the medium to longer term. The  Department of Health welcomes the recommendations which support our desire  for delivery of apprenticeship in the health sector in the medium and longer term and  the wider Government agenda.
